Mullet Mates Parade at the Nelsen's

Those are just some snapshots from the parade we went to at our good friends the Nelsens house. The parade is comes down their street so we just sit in their driveway and collect so much stuff. It was tons of fun. We paraded and then cooked out steaks.

These are a few pics from the Maids of Jubilee parade we attended with the Nelsen clan. It was in downtown Fairhope and was bitter cold, but the girls had fun (and so did Holly and I ha). Mardi Gras is always a fun time of year with so much action. Stay tuned for the next post--Mullet Mates parade!

Hello to everyone! Well Mardi Gras is fully underway down here in Fairhope. Here are a few pics from the two parades we went to last week. We went to one during the day on Sat. (it was the Mystic Mutts of Revelry-a dog parade to raise money for our no kill shelter) and the night one was the Knights of Ecor Rouge (KOER-the mens parade).

And before the pictures anyone with any help I definately need it. I have no idea how to make my pictures go in the right spots (as you can tell from my last post with pictures. This whole blogging thing sure makes me feel dumb sometimes. Anyway I am going to add a few more pictures but who knows where they will show up. ha!

November 08

This holiday was also spent in Clarksdale. My aunt and uncle from Birmingham joined us. Mom, Ally and I picked out Mom's tree and then spent an afternoon decorating it! Mom was organizing the ornaments when Ally decided she would help and picked up the box and dumped it all out. Thank goodness nothing broke!

We also made a trip to Madison, MS for cousin Emily's 2nd Birthday. It was so fun and the girls really enjoyed playing with each other.

Christmas 08

Ok so I am going to attempt to update everyone as best as I can on what is/has been going on in the Risner's life. So I might have tons of posts but hey I gotta start somewhere!

We spent Christmas in Clarksdale this year. Brannon and I were blessed to have some time off and ended up staying like 10 days. We left Fairhope on Christmas Eve and came back on January 2! Ally still did not fully understand Santa but was very excited over all of her new things. Her princess outfit was and still is the biggest hit!

Joining the Blogging World

Hello everyone--I am joining the blogging world finally! Man to have a computer degree I sure am behind on technology! This blogging has blown my mind, but I am making progress now. Anyhow--I will try to keep it updated and look forward to staying in better touch with everyone!
